SEA-FIRE” is a pioneer and market leader for Fire Suppression Systems. These systems can be applied in engine rooms from small yachts to large superyachts and professional vessels. Sea-Fire Marine benefits from more than 40 years of experience in fire extinguishing and suppression technology. In combination, we are a global leader in the design and manufacture of fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems for the marine and pleasure craft industry
Sea-fire uses NOVEC 1230™
Novec 120™ by 3M™ is one of the first Halon replacing agents. It is safe for humans. It is is accepted and respected worldwide, with a history of protecting some of the world’s most critical and irreplaceable assets.
Many fire suppression systems can cause major damage to – and even destroy – the very things they are supposed to protect. You’re looking to avoid damage – not cause it. You’re looking to reduce downtime – not lengthen it. You want a firesuppression system that deploysquickly and cleanly and won’t leave behind oily residue, particulate, or water. FM-200® firesuppressant stops fires fast. When you consider the potentially devastating environmental effects of an uncontrolled fire, it’s easy to see that an Novec 120™ by 3M™ system is an important part of an environmentally responsible fire suppression solution.
Novec 120™ by 3M™ the next generation of halon replacement technology.
Based on a proprietary chemistry from 3M, Novec 1230 fluid addresses industry needs for clean agent fire protection that is safe an deffective, while offering an environmetal prifile halocarbon agents like HFCs can’t begin to match:
• Zero ozonedepletionpotential
• 5-day atmosphericlifetime
• Global warming potential of 1
Sea-Fire FM-200 “H-Series” Custom-Engineered Fire Suppression Systems protect spaces from 1,500 cu ft (42.5 cu m) up to 17,500 cu ft (500 cu m) and provide reliable and responsible economical solutions that protect large pleasure craft, yachts, workboats, marine vessels and onshore/offshore marine applications.
Systems are fully customizable and available with versatile options such as automatic and manual or manual only systems, features include 30 or 60 second time delay, alarm sirens and pressure trips for maintaining compartment integrity. SEA-FIRE engineered marine systems are tested and approved in accordance with IMO/SOLAS requirements. Numerous international approvals including USCG and Lloyds MCA.

SEA-FIRE FM200™ Stinger FT Automatic Suppression Systems are pre-engineered and designed for ease of installation in highly complex applications The systems are self-activating, require very little maintenance and provide a cost effective solution for applications including marine, recreational vehicles, and commercial and industrial use where flammable liquids are likely the source. Stinger FT Series require no external power so they are not sensitive to power failures or shut downs. The Stinger FT Series is ideal for small volumes, 4,2 cbm or less.
The direct low-pressure system utilizes the tubing as both the detecting device and agent delivery system. When temperatures go beyond 79 degr.C. the portion of the tubing nearest the hottest part of the flame will rupture forming a mini discharge nozzle. In a fire condition, the agent is released via the small nozzle and the system continues to discharge the agent until the entire contents of the cylinder is expended.
