| The aerator (anti-siphon unit) is designed to prevent siphoning, what occurs if the engine is mounted under the water line, or the water injection into the exhaust is lower than 15 cm above the waterline. The aerator must be placed at a safe height above the waterline The recommended height is at least 40cm. Siphoning done by a law of nature, the communicating vessels. Here the water flows through the water supply by the engine in the exhaust system. When the exhaust system is filled, the water runs further back into the engine.
